Each appointment lasts approximately one hour and begins with the selection of the finest Italian fabrics. Together, we refine every detail, from collars and cuffs to buttons, plackets, and embroidery, before taking a complete set of measurements.

Your measurements are then sent to our master tailors in Spain, where a unique pattern is created and your shirt is meticulously handcrafted from start to finish.

The Process of Making the Perfect Shirt

Every Santamaria shirt is designed and tailor made especially for you, resulting in a level of quality that elevates it beyond the typical shirt.

Measurement

We begin by reviewing your measurements and physique to create a unique pattern, then select the required fabric from our warehouse.

Cutting

Our master cutters create a unique pattern based on your measurements, carefully cutting the fabric by hand to ensure a precise fit and elegant drape.

Construction

Once the fabric arrives at the workshop, expert shirt makers assemble the torso, attach the sleeves, and hand-set the collar for a natural fit and lasting structure.

Finish

The finished shirt is carefully pressed, hand packed, and prepared for delivery via our courier service.

I do not think the sizing I have received is correct. What can I do?

If our tailors have made a mistake during the hand-cutting or hand-stitching, we will be happy to remake your order. You don't even need to return the shirt. Simply take a photo of the incorrect measurement so that we can double check we're working to the same guidelines.

The shirt fits but one of my shirt style details are missing. What can I do?

We apologize for not getting the finishing correct. Attention to detail is generally something we pride ourselves on. If our pattern maker or tailors have made a mistake during the hand-cutting or hand-stitching, we will be happy to remake your order. You don't even need to return the shirt. Simply take a photo of our error so we can double check we're working to the same guidelines.

How long does my remake take?

As soon as the sizing or changes are confirmed, the order will resume and be expedited to arrive within the normal three week timeframe. We appreciate that waiting for a remake can be a tiresome experience. However, please remember that we are making a brand new shirt and three weeks is our fastest turnaround time to provide you with the highest quality product available.

How many remakes can I get?

If there is no mistake on our part, we offer a single free remake on your first order. As all our shirts are hand-made for you and our returns go to charity, we are unable to operate an unlimited exchange policy. We will do our best to help you get the correct fit on your first order and we are always here to help if you're unsure or need suggestions.
